Gasper is the horror film ranking app: log what you watched, answer which was scarier, and get scare scores built from your own head-to-head picks.
ShortAbout 60 words
Gasper is a free iOS app for horror fans. Instead of typing a rating, you say how scary a film was and answer which was scarier against films you already ranked, and the film lands in your personal rankings with one number, a scare score for how frightening it was, plus a heart for the films you loved. Friends, a feed, a leaderboard and lists sit on top. Gasper is made by Avigage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
LongAbout 120 words
Gasper is a horror-only film logger for iPhone, built on a comparison mechanic instead of typed ratings. After logging a watch, you say how scary it was, Terrifying, Some scares or Barely flinched, and then answer which was scarier against films you already ranked; a few head-to-heads place it in your ordered rankings with a scare score out of 10. A heart marks the films you loved, because scary and good are different questions. Film pages show the Community Scare, the average of everyone who ranked a film, and your Scare Tolerance says where you land next to the crowd. There is a feed of friends' rankings, lists, a Films and a Fans leaderboard, a daily pick, a weekly streak, and Bloodwork, which tells your fear stats as a shareable story. Gasper is free, with no ads, no subscription and no data sold, and is made by Avigage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Please write the name as Gasper, with a capital G, and the score as scare score, lowercase. The wordmark is lowercase on purpose.
