On this page
Open the film's page and tap "Ranked", then "Re-rank head-to-head". The comparisons run afresh, the film moves to wherever your new answers put it, and its scare score updates. Nothing is locked.
The details
Once a film is in your list, the Rank button on its page reads "Ranked". Tap it and you get three choices: "Re-rank head-to-head", "Edit", and "Remove from watched". Re-ranking is the same flow as ranking: "How scary was it?", Terrifying, Some scares or Barely flinched, then "Which was scarier?" against films already in your list with the same answer. Because your list has grown since the first time, the comparisons are against different films, and the film's new place reflects everything you have ranked since.
"Edit" changes what you wrote about the film without re-running the comparisons. "Remove from watched" takes the film out of your rankings altogether.
The score changes because the position changed. If It Follows (2014) sat at 7.2 and your new answers put it above three films that were ahead of it, it climbs, and the films it passed shift a little too. The Community Scare takes the new score into its average, anonymously, like any other.
Re-rank when a rewatch changed your mind, when a film landed somewhere that felt wrong, or when your early list was small and the numbers have since unlocked. A film ranked third out of four and never touched again is probably not where it belongs among sixty.
Tips
Rewatching before re-ranking is better than re-ranking from memory alone, but memory is fine. The question is always what you remember of the flinch, not what you think the film deserves.
The film keeps one place in your list; re-ranking moves it rather than adding a copy. If you want a record of how your opinion changed, the review is the place to write it.
